INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS
Pursuant to EU Regulation no. 679/2016 (the "GDPR")

Dear Applicant,
As Data Subject, i.e. the person to whom the personal data you have supplied refers (hereinafter the “Data”), the undersigned company, NICE S.p.A., with registered office at via Callalta 1, Oderzo (hereinafter the “Company”), wishes to inform you of the following.
1. WHAT PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU CAN BE COLLECTED
The Data collected refers to the information generally contained in the Curriculum Vitae. Information may also be collected that is obtained from a check run on your references (if done), like membership of an institution, schooling, work experience and other information relevant to determining your suitability as an applicant. In addition to this, information and images may be collected from your profile on professional networks (if applicable), notes taken during interviews and comments made by other references during the selection process. The Data may be updated on the basis of information available publicly and/or collected by third parties and/or directly from yourself. The Company also reserves the right to run suitable checks to ensure that the Data is truthful, in particular as regards your qualifications, previous work experience, professional appointments or institutional offices held; this may include contacting the references you have given and your previous employers.

The Data acquired will not regard personal beliefs, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, information relating to health or sex life or sexual orientation (hereinafter “Special categories of data”) nor will it include any information that is not relevant to the assessment of your professional aptitude, unless they are characteristics that affect how you go about your work or which are an essential, key requirement to its pursuit.

2. WHAT PURPOSES CAN YOUR PERSONAL DATA BE USED FOR

2.1 We need to collect and process your Data in order to execute pre-contractual measures and for connected or instrumental purposes to the search and selection of Company staff.
Basis for processing: execution of pre-contractual measures. Data conferral, including Special categories of data within the above limits, in accordance with current legislation on personal data protection, should be considered compulsory so as to allow the Company to satisfy its need to know and assess applicants as part of the search for and selection of staff and to comply with obligations laid down by laws, rules and regulations. Failure to confer such may make it impossible for us to pursue the search and selection process of staff and consequently make it impossible for us to stipulate a contract of employment with you.

3. HOW WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA SECURE AND FOR HOW LONG

Your Data will be processed correctly, lawfully and transparently. It may be processed manually or using automated means that can save, handle and transmit it. Processing will take place using tools that can guarantee security and confidentiality by means of the use of procedures able to avoid the risk of loss, unauthorised access, unlawful use and dissemination.

Your Data will be kept only for as long as necessary to the selection of staff (for a specific position or even for future positions of potential interest). The Company will regularly check the Data and may delete it if no longer necessary for the purpose envisaged.

In any case, your Data will be stored in the corporate databases for no longer than 12 months from when it is acquired by the Company. After this storage period, Data will be deleted or made anonymous.

4. WHO CAN WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH
Your Data can be accessed by employees duly authorised to do so and external suppliers, appointed, if necessary, as processors, providing support to supply services.
For the same purposes, your personal data may also be accessed by other companies of the Nice Group based in the EU.
You can contact the Company in the manner envisaged by the paragraph entitled “Contact details” if you would like to see the list of processors and other parties we communicate data to.

5. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS AND YOUR RIGHT TO MAKE COMPLAINTS TO THE CONTROL AUTHORITY
At certain conditions, you have the right to ask the Company:

 for access to Data about you and its rectification;
 to erase your Data;
 to restrict processing;
 to object to processing where envisaged by applicable legislation;
 to send you the Data in a structured format of common use that can be read by an automatic device (portability) and to have said Data sent to another data controller.
 Exercising those rights is subject to some exceptions aimed at protecting public interests (for example the prevention of identification of crimes) and the Company’s interests. If you should exercise any of the above rights, the Company will be responsible for checking that you are entitled to do so and, as a rule, you will receive a reply within a month.
